Information

World-Class Color Image Quality — The KIP 2200 Scanner
provides high demand users with outstanding color fidelity
without sacrificing speed or resolution! Compatible
with monochrome KIP and color inkjet printers, the KIP 2200
provides scan to file and copy image quality that is far
beyond the capability of any competing system.
- True 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution
- Three independent imaging cameras
- RGB True Color image capture
- Self-calibrating maintenance systems
Three distinct color control settings may be utilized, depending
on the original type, and desired application.
- B / W (black & white) – Appropriate for use
when archiving images or making copies of traditional reprographic
originals that may contain the full range of data from
simple lines to complex screen patterns. This mode
captures 1-bit black and white data for accurate reproduction
on KIP LED printers. B / W mode provides the smallest
file size for archival purposes.
- Gray – Gray mode is a function
of color scanning designed for applications involving grayscale
photographs, maps and graphical data. This mode
captures the full range of 8-bit grayscale data, with no
image drop-out or down sampling. Gray mode may also
be used for making accurate copies of black and white photos
to inkjet printers. Gray mode creates a significantly
larger file size than B / W, due to the capture of additional
color depth data.
- Color – Professional grade, 24-bit
imaging mode provides high quality photo and graphic reproduction
for any application. Create high resolution copies
to color inkjet printers, or scan complex detailed color
originals to file. Color mode creates the largest
file size due to the incredible amount of digital data
processed during each scan.
